Meanwhile on 5th April Plzeň celebrated the Czechoslovakia liberation, at Eden stadium in Prague the fans enjoyed merciless fight for league points. Both teams knew the victory is worth gold.

The home team was more active at the beginning when Stoch had an effort on goal. On the other side Radim Řezník returned Zeman´s pass back in front of the gate but Havel was inaccurate towards Kolář. On 9 minutes Marek Bakoš was given a yellow card for his foul on the goalkeeper. On about 15 minutes Slavia had a corner and Miroslav Stoch kicked the ball that nobody could reach it, the ball only rebounded from running Radim Řezník and Michael Ngadeu – Slavia went in lead 1-0. The goal was counted as own one. During the first 30 minutes Slavia was a stronger team mainly in the midfield where they succeeded in stopping Viktoria´s breaks. They also settled their offensive actions and had several promising chances on goal. On 36 minutes Roman Hubník was shown a yellow card for stopping one of those chances. On 44 minutes the home team had a great chance when Stanislav Tecl turned in the 18-yard box but his inaccurate shot missed the target. The half-time result was 1-0 for Slavia.

Marek Bakoš did not participate in the 2nd half and was substituted by Michael Krmenčík. Viktoria wanted to get better their 1st half performance and Jan Kopic had a quick chance on goal. On 52 minutes the match twisted. After a foul on Stanislav Tecl the referee Franěk whistled a penalty kick for Slavia but Miroslav Stoch was stopped by the goalkeeper Matúš Kozáčik who perfectly guessed the side of his shot. In the following minutes there were emotions on the lawn when Milan Havel and Tomáš Hořava were given a yellow card each. On 56 Kozáčik acted great again when he saved Tecl´s centre pass. Two minutes later the home team was successful. After a Viktoria´s corner Slavia settled a fast break and Tecl added the second goal. Slavia was leading 2-0. On 66 minutes Matúš Kozáčik supported his team who rebounded off Frydrych´s header. Several moments later Plzeň made it and scored a goal as well, nevertheless, the video referee did not count it. On 74 minutes David Limberský chased running Tecl and stopped him for a foul, finally this action was disscussed with the video referee again and Viktoria kicked from their gate. However, Limberský had to leave the pitch because he injured himself. Pavel Vrba made two substitutions but nothing changed the final score of the match, Slavia won 2-0.
