​In the 12th round of the Synot League FC Viktoria Plzeň went to Uherské Hradiště to play against 1.FC Slovácko. Miroslav Koubek´s team won this hard match thanks to Tomáš Hořava´s goal 1:0.

FC Viktoria Plzeň started the match with the same line-up as in the previous match. The only change happened in the defensive line where Lukáš Hejda was substituted by Roman Hubník because of too many yellow cards. The fight seemed to be quite equal at the beginning of the match and Plzeň had to besiege Slovácko´s goal who wanted to achieve as many points as possible.

After initial 15 minutes the match started turning around and the home team threatened the goal as the first one on 17 minutes. Havlík attempted to shoot from the penalty area but Matúš Kozáčik did not have to participate because the shot went above the crossbar. Viktoria found difficulties in getting in promising chances because Slovácko created a defensive block. Pliař made it and beat his man but shot off the goal. Then two centre passes to Tecl followed as well as to Kolář but he was caught offside.

Plzeň had a great chance on 32 minutes. Hrošovský took a free kick and found Vaněk on the other side but he hit only one of the defenders.

On 5 minutes left till the end of the 1st half Hrošovský run alone in the midfield and not attacked by anybody got on the edge of the penalty area trying to shoot but, as well as his mates, his attempt flew above. The 1st half ended goalless.

Miroslav Koubek made on change for the 2nd half – Daniel Kolář was substituted by tomáš Hořava who immediately participated in the combination. He found Pilař on the left side who centred the ball in the penalty area. The home team´s defensive was ready and well-organized so Viktoria did not succeed in scoring. On 54 minutes Procházka had an effort on goal as well but was not dangerous. Plzeň were craving for a goal and increased their pressure in front of Slovácko´s goal. On 62 minutes Petržela and Hořava cooperated and Viktoria finally scored! 0:1!

Slovácko had to attack their opponent again and Kerbr dangerously shot but Kozáčik was ready. Soon after that the home team played two corners but were not able to score. Slovácko had one more very promising chance but Viktoria kept the result save and won 1:0.
