Viktoria Plzeň played the 29th round of the Synot League against Bohemians Praha 1905. They secured their position of the 2014/15 title-holder in the previous round so the coach Miroslav Koubek saved some basic stones of the line-up and the players who do not appear on the pitch so often were given their chance, such as Jan Baránek, Lukáš Hejda or Milan Petržela.

Before the match started both teams expressed their support to seriously ill Marián Čišovský and this nice gesture was also welcomed by the fans at the stadium.

Afterwards the match was commenced. On 8 minutes Aidin Mahmutovič was the first one to have an effort on goal but he lacked one step. 3 minutes later Lukáš Hejda could not head the ball in the goal after a corner. On the other side, Elvis Bratanovič attempted to change the score but Matúš Kozáčik was ready and destroyed his effort. On 18 minutes Petržela beat Šírl but the goalkeeper Zlámal was ready and caught his sharp shot. Bohemians confirmed their position in the middle of the stadnings mentally help them a lot. They were craving for goal. Brtek and Rada attempted to change the score but none of them succeeded. On 39 minutes Elvis Bratanovič finally scored when he lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper Kozáčik. Two minutes later Bohemians were even happier. Bratanovič got a ball on the edge of the penalty area and placed the ball near the right upright. Bohemians were in lead 2:0 but Viktoria´s response was very quick. Two minutes later Pilař passed the ball to Mahmutovič and he scored, too – 2:1.

After a half-time break Tomáš Hořava was substituted by Patrik Hrošovský. On 47 Aidin Mahmutovič appeared in a promising chance but his head was stopped by the goalkeeper Zdeněk Zlámal. Viktoria increased the pace of the game in the 2nd half. Pilař also had an effort on goal but hit only the crossbar for the first time and then his attempt was rebounded by the goalkeeper Zlámal. 4 minutes later the home team had a very dangerous chance . Matúš Mikuš run alone against Matúš Kozáčik but finally Hejda stopped him. The game was up and down. Pilař sent a perfect shot on the goalkeeper who was careful. It seemed the match was equal on both sides but at the moment Bratanovič finished his hattrick. The coach Miroslav Koubek used right two substitution at once. Mahmutovič and Petržela went out and Holenda woth Procházka went in on 69 minutes. Viktoria finally added one more goal scored by Václav Pilař. 10 minutes before the end of the match Viktoria were within firing range of their opponent but they were not able to score at least one more time so they lost 2:3.
