Lukáš Hejda scored the only goal in Hradec Králové and Viktoria won 1-0
Viktoria Plzeň played the 23rd match under rainy weather in Hradec Králové. The new coach Zdeněk Bečka made two changes in the line-up – Milan Petržela played the right wing and Jakub Hromada was a midfielder.
Lukáš Hejda made a quick yellow-card foul on 2 minutes when trying to stop a promising Hradec Králové´s action. At the beginning of the match Viktoria relied on a patient combination and the home team tried to threaten Kozáčik´s gate mostly after quick breaks. On 22 minutes one of them was directed by Pavel Černý but his attempt flew off the goal. 1 minute later Radim Řezník passed the ball to Tomáš Hořava. The home goalkeeper Ottmar saved his attempt. Maybe because of the soft lawn Viktoria chose to play long balls to Marek Bakoš but the Slovakian forward got in none of the chances. On 42 minutes David Limberský was shown a yellow card. The 1st half-time was goalless.
Viktoria entered the 2nd half very well and their pressure resulted in a penalty kick. On 53 minutes Tomáš Hořava sent the ball to Ottmar and Hořava´s hit had no effect, too. On 60 minutes the injured sideline referee had to be substituted by the 4th referee Zbyněk Proske. 10 minutes later Milan Petržela was substituted by Jan Kovařík who immediately participated in the game by cooperation with Martin Zeman. On 75 minutes the coach Bečka substituted Jakub Hromada for Tomáš Poznar. The third substitution came soon after that and Zeman was replaced by Kopic. On 80 minutes Plzeň played a free kick, Jan Kopic passed the ball to Lukáš Hejda´s head and he scored! Viktoria went in lead 1-0! Hradec had an effort to equalize the score and opened the defensive, however, the result did not change until the end of the match.
Viktoria brought all 3 points from Hradec Králové.
