29-years-old winger Martin Zeman is leaving Viktoria Plzeň after 3 seasons. He signed the contract with the 9th team of Israeli league Hapoel Ra’anana.

Martin Zeman already played for Viktoria in the 2012/2013 season when he participated in 16 matches. Later he spent some seasons in Senica, Příbram and Sion. In August 2016 he returned to Plzeň and since then he jumped into 47 domestic league matches and 17 European matches. In the current season he played 70 minutes in the UEFA Champions League (in Rome) and 416 minutes in the league.

Nowadays he is leaving to face a new challenge in Israel. "This second time I joined Viktoria's team was amazing. We reached the champion's title and went on to UCL group stage. We created incredible experiences and I'm glad we all could live through it," he says. "I will happily remember of our fantastic fans and I thank Viktoria for allowing me this transfer. My goal for abroad is to play as much as possible but I'll keep my fingers crossed for Viktoria in the domestic league as well as in the UEFA Europa League," Martin Zeman adds.

"Martin spent several seasons here and contributed to our success. We'd like to thank him and wish him all the best in his further sport career as well as in personal life," the club's general manager Adolf Šádek said.

Thank you for everything, Zemi, our fingers crossed for you!
