Viktoria played the 15th-round match against Příbram with the result 1-1 as well as in the 29th round today. Plzeň got in leading about 30 minutes into the game thanks to Erik Pačinda’s hit, however, the hosts immediately equalized by Jan Matoušek. In the second half none of the teams scored.

After a calm start Viktorians took the leading about 30 minutes into the game. Rebounded ball was returned in front of the gate by David Limberský. The goalkeeper Kočí jumped down on lawn, kept the ball off the goal but he bounced it only to Erik Pačinda who had no troubles to score his first goal for Plzeň.

Nevertheless, the home team made it to equalize soon. Mingazov’s amazing break through the midfield was evaluated by this season’s new star Aleš Matoušek who netted against Hruška.

The game did not change much after a break. Right at the beginning Soldát dangerously headed the ball but missed the target. This attempt was the only promising chance for longer time on both sides.

Pavel Vrba tried to enlive the game by Kovařík, Bakoš and Ekpai and they did have a big chance to turn the score on Viktoria’s side in the 87th minute. Bakoš crossed the ball to Kovařík but his effort was stopped by Kočí. Unfortunately it was the last bigger chance and the match finished by a tie 1-1.

"Of course, we wanted to win but we failed ourselves," the coach Pavel Vrba regretted. "The match's progress developed very positively for us but then we made a big mistake and Příbram punished us. In the second half it was rather a fight than football, I‘m disappointed but let’s admit the hosts deserved at least this one point," the coach evaluated.
