Řezník celebrating his 250th jubilee match appeared in the opening chance of the match. Jan Kopic’s crossed ball was prolonged to back upright by Michael Krmenčík but Radim Řezník missed the target. Duo Hrošovský - Kalvach combined well and the latter one stretched the goalkeeper who rebounded it to corner. Meanwhile Bohemians had a chance on goal when Jakub Podaný missed his attempt towards Aleš Hruška.

Active football from the beginning of the match stopped, the game moved rather to midfield and both teams were fighting for every centimetre of the pitch. The only interesting actions were offered at the beginning so the half-time result was goalless. Coach Pavel Vrba already substitute one player when Luděk Pernica had to leave the pitch because of his head injury.

Equal match on both sides prevailed to Viktoria’s one mainly in the last 20 minutes. Plzeň pushed their opponent hard and could decide the match several times but Krmenčík’s header or Řezník’s shot did not fly between the uprights. Viktoria lost their first points in this season.

“In my opinion the final result is well deserved on both sides,“ the coach thinks. “Bohemians were better in the first half. Their vigour was stronger and they also won more tackles. They succeeded in free kicks and were closer to goal. In second half it turned over, our game got better, we had some interesting situations but we didn’t complete them as we should have,“ he regretted.
