On the basis of the Emergency status declared by the Czech government, the League Football Association decided to postpone all the FORTUNA:LIGA matches for the duration of the emergency status. At this point, it means for 30 days. During this period, the Viktoria B-team, youth teams and women teams will not play their matches falling under the authority of Czech Footbal Association as well.

With regard to the corona virus contagion threat, the Czech government declared an emergency status on the territory of the Czech Republic on Thursday, March 12th. On the basis of these measures, the League Football Association has postponed all the upcoming matches of the first and second football league for the duration of the emergency status. Therefore, the Viktoria matches will not be played according to the regular game plan.

"We are talking about an emergency status. We take this situation very seriously and we have to act accordingly. The health protection is the highest priority right now," the club general manager Adolf Šádek stated. "Together with the coaching staff, we are working on a team plan for the following days, considering the current situation," he added.

The emergency status also applies for the B-team matches, as well as for all the youth and women categories under the authority of Czech Football Association. These matches have been postponed, until further notice.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and we will inform our fans in time through club website and social network channels," the club spokesman Václav Hanzlík concluded.
