The season is over, but preparations for the upcoming 2026/2027 season are in full swing. Here is the schedule for FCVP’s entire summer preseason.
Immediately after the season’s final match, some of the players headed off on vacation, while the national team members are gradually joining their respective national squads to prepare for the World Cup in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
At Doosan Arena, however, everything is already being prepared for the start of the summer training period, which the Viktoria players will begin on Monday, June 15, when they will undergo traditional fitness and functional tests. Subsequently, the team will train at home under the supervision of head coach Martin Hyský and his staff, and two preseason friendlies are also on the schedule. First, Viktoria will face Artis Brno at the Senco Doubravka stadium, followed by an exciting match in Dobřany against Spartak Trnava.
Once again this year, the team will head to Westendorf, Austria, for a training camp, with the entire squad departing on Saturday, July 4. During the training camp abroad, Viktoria will play three preseason matches against Denmark’s FC Copenhagen, Switzerland’s Young Boys Bern, and Ukraine’s Polissya Zhytomyr.
“We will, of course, be in regular contact with the national team players who are heading to the World Cup. They will join the training gradually, depending on how their respective teams perform and when they return from the tournament. The goal is to be as well-prepared as possible for the start of the season and to do our best right from the start to qualify for European cup competition and, of course, to get off to a good start in the league,” said the club’s sporting director, Martin Vozábal.

The entire delegation will return home to Pilsen on Tuesday, July 14.
The following week marks the official start of the season with the second qualifying round of the Europa League. We will find out who our opponent is during the draw at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Wednesday, June 17.
All Viktoria fans can already start preparing for the new season by purchasing season tickets. Pre-sale for current season ticket holders is in full swing and ends tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27. General sales begin on Thursday, July 4.
