Wednesday afternoon meant another taxing football fight for Pavel Vrba´s team. In the north of Czech they played the first quarterfinal match of Czech Cup Česká pošta against Jablonec. As announced in advance, Pavel Vrba made some changes in the lineup. Lukáš Hejda, Michal Ďuriš, Martin Zeman, Stanislav Tecl and Roman Adamov appeared from the beginning.

Wednesday afternoon meant another taxing football fight for Pavel Vrba´s team. In the north of Czech they played the first quarterfinal match of Czech Cup Česká pošta against Jablonec. As announced in advance, Pavel Vrba made some changes in the lineup. Lukáš Hejda, Michal Ďuriš, Martin Zeman, Stanislav Tecl and Roman Adamov appeared from the beginning.

Viktoria entered the match with the best start they could. On 5 minutes of the game they scored so they were leading from the very beginning of the match. The centre from Michal Ďuriš was hit by Jablonec´s defensive only to the penalty area where Marián Čišovský waited for his chance and was successful. 1:0 for Viktoria! 3 minutes later Matúš Kozáčik touched the ball for the first time in this match. Lukáš Zoubele´s head could not threaten him. Much more work was prepared on the other side for the other goalkeeper. But Michal Špit was ready for Stanislav Tecl´s head. Roman Adamov tried to increase Viktoria´s lead but did not. On 30 minutes of the game Stanislav Tecl got rid of the defence and shot. His attempt was placed next to the right upright. 7 minutes later the home team almost rejoiced in the equalization but Milan Kopic missed the goal. There were several more chances on both sides till the end of the first half-time but the score remained unchanged 0:1 so Viktoria left the pitch happier.

Ondřej Vaněk arranged the first attempt of the second half-time. Fortunately for Viktoria, he missed the goal. In the 51st minute Roman Adamov had anoter chance after Daniel Rossi´s mistake so he run to the goal without defence. Špit won this fight so Adamov did not add any goal. 11 minutes later Jablonec equalized the score. After Vaněk´s pass Piták loaned to the ball and changed the score to 1:1. In the following minutes the home team was more active. In the 74th minute Lukáš Třešňák was fouled in the penalty area by Marián Čišovský so Jablonec had a penalty kick. Karel Piták did well as a penalty kick executor and sent Jablonec to leading 2:1. The game was up and down since then but no team scored any other goal so Viktoria has to delete 1 goal in the rematch which is on programme on Wednesday 10th April at 6 p.m. at Doosan Arena.
