The Plzeň players were successful in the final match of the regular season on the ground of Baník Ostrava, winning 1–0 after a disciplined performance. The key moment came in the 35th minute, when Memić sent Adua through on goal, and he made no mistake. Viktoria then held onto their lead despite several dangerous chances from the home side and take all three points from Ostrava.

Baník Ostrava got the final regular-season match underway and created a huge chance right from the start. After a cross from outside the box, the ball was heading into the net, but Spáčil cleared it off the line at the last moment. In the 8th minute, Višinský broke down the flank but lost the ball in a one-on-one situation. A minute later, he tried again, but his effort was deflected out for a corner. Viktoria failed to threaten from the set piece. In the 13th minute, Dweh met Panoš’s cross but narrowly missed the target. Six minutes later, Adu looked for the run of Memić, but the cross was too long and Jedlička gathered it comfortably. Moments later, Spáčil produced another crucial intervention, chasing down a through ball and denying the home striker a clear chance. In the 21st minute, Ladra tested Jedlička with a well-struck shot, which the goalkeeper pushed away for a corner. The decisive moment came in the 35th minute. The move started with Wiegele, whose throw found Memić on the halfway line. He then sent Adu clean through on goal, and the Viktoria forward made no mistake. Just before the break, Adu had another chance from a Memić cross but failed to hit the target. Nothing significant happened before halftime, and Viktoria went into the dressing room with a one-goal lead.

Viktoria started the second half more actively, earning several corners, but without creating any major threat. In the 55th minute, they produced a nice combination on the opponent’s half, but Adu’s finish did not trouble the goal. Around the 70th minute, Hrošovský tried his luck, but his shot went over the bar. Shortly after coming on, Mohamed Touré broke through on goal, but Jedlička made an excellent save. At the other end, Wiegele remained alert and dealt well with crosses into the box. In the 77th minute, Sojka delivered a cross into the penalty area, which Kadlec met, but he was caught by Jedlička’s knee in the challenge. Fortunately, both players escaped without serious injury. In the 84th minute, Baník had a huge chance, but Memić made a last-ditch block to divert the shot wide. The following corner also failed to bring an equaliser. Viktoria then saw out the remainder of the match without complications and take all three points from Ostrava.
