On the first Sunday of Advent, Viktoria Plzeň welcomed Mladá Boleslav to the Doosan Arena and won 2-1. Prince Adu and Rafiu Durosinmi scored for the home team.

The initial draw gave the ball to the visitors, but they didn't keep it for long. Viktoria soon got into the game, took the initiative, and tried to find a gap in Boleslav's defense. Despite their significant pressure, the visitors could have taken the lead first. Kostka brought the ball down the right side and sent it into the top corner. However, his joy was thwarted by a great save from Florian Wiegele, who dealt perfectly with the seemingly unstoppable shot. At the other end, Prince Adu could have opened the scoring. After a beautiful pass from Denis Višinský, he found himself alone in front of goalkeeper Floder, but failed to convert at the decisive moment.

Both teams put in an active and combative performance. Viktoria's players had most of the possession. In the 29th minute, Florian Wiegele saved his team again when he blocked a shot with his foot. Towards the end of the first half, Denis Višinský had a great chance to score when he found himself alone in the penalty area, but he sent the ball straight to the goalkeeper. In the 45th minute, Daniel Langhamer was sent off after a foul on Lukáš Červ, receiving his second yellow card, which meant that Boleslav had to finish the match with one player down.

Due to an injury at the end of the first half, Lukáš Červ did not start the second half. He was replaced by Amar Memić. Plzeň started the second half actively and immediately put pressure on their opponents. Cheick Souré celebrated the first goal of the match with a header, but VAR intervened and disallowed the goal due to offside. The real celebrations came ten minutes later when the ball rebounded to Prince Adu in the penalty area and he gave Floder no chance.

In the final ten minutes, the home side scored again. Tomáš Ladra sent Matěj Vydra on a breakaway, who, together with Rafi Durosinmi, advanced alone on the goalkeeper. The captain was aware of his teammate's presence and passed him the ball in front of an empty goal. Five minutes later, Boleslav also scored thanks to Matyáš Vojta. However, Viktoria expertly defended their lead and, after a 2-1 victory, the three points remained at the Doosan Arena.
