Coach Vrba used unusually two forwards for the match against Dukla in the 30th round of FORTUNA:LEAGUE. Viktoria had no problems to deal with Dukla Prague and pleased their fans by a win 4-0. They noticed the biggest point gain in history when losing only two points at the home stadium!

Viktoria amazingly entered the match and it was sealed by Roman Procházka who scored right in the 6th minute of the match. After Hrošovský’s pass he had a free space to shoot so he tried it and thanks to Daniel Souček’s rebound he netted the ball.

A moment later Kopic could increase the score but he missed Kovařík’s crossed ball into the box. Tomáš Chorý acted similarly several minutes later. Plzeň’s fans finally celebrated increased score, moreover twice more!

Second and third goal were scored by Jan Kopic who rectified his fault when utilized two excellent passes from his teammates. First, he received Kovařík’s crossed ball and second, Limberský passed him to shoot by a head.

Right after the break Viktorians could link to their productive end of the first half but Kovařík heeled to a back upright after Kopic‘s pass but missed the target. Hrošovský appeared in a promising chance later but failed.

Tomáš Hořava was the one who sealed the final score by the fourth goal in stoppage time. Pavel Vrba‘s team finished the first 30 rounds with 14 wins – 1 tie – 0 loss, by which they settled the new club record!

The score was opened in the 6th minute by Roman Procházka by a rebounded shot. “I began to make fun of that because I score most goals after a rebound,“ he is smiling. “I think the reason is that I often try to shoot from distance. I’m glad I succeed but my goals are not important, the main thing is the team’s victory,“ Roman Procházka knows. Jan Kopic linked to his teammate by two goals. “I think I needed them in order to get in a good mental mood,“ the midfielder is pleased.
