The alliance between FC Viktoria Plzeň and DOOSAN Škoda Power, which has lasted for more than sixteen years and has been extremely successful, will write another chapter. Today, both representatives signed a contract extension for another two years, during which DOOSAN will continue to be the general partner of the reigning Czech champions.

A total of six championship titles, three participations in the Champions League group stage, over 100 matches on the European stage and a lot of success and joy in the youth categories. On top of that, countless joint charity and fan events for the whole region where we are collectively at home and to which we have a strong bond. This is all that Viktoria Plzeň has experienced alongside its general partner over the past more than sixteen years. That is exactly how long Viktoria and Doosan have been working together. And they will go into the coming seasons together, which was confirmed today with the signing of a new two-year contract. The ceremonial act took place at the Pilsen City Hall in the presence of Mayor Pavel Šindelář.

"DOOSAN is our key partner with whom we have been on a long-term common path. We have experienced together all the great successes of the new club era, which makes the fans very happy and is a great calling card not only for the city of Pilsen, but the entire Pilsen region. For this reason, the contract is being signed at the Pilsen City Hall with the participation of the Mayor of the city. This is proof that all three entities are bound by a strong partnership bond. Without the support of the City of Pilsen in terms of infrastructure and without the support of our biggest partner in recent years, we would definitely not have been able to think about these achievements," said Adolf Šádek, general manager of Viktoria Plzeň, after the signing of the contract.

"I appreciate the fact that DOOSAN has stood by us not only during the big wins, but also during the harder times, for example during the pandemic. Today´s signing only confirms that our cooperation is extraordinary and can clearly be called a combination of successes. I look forward to more great victories and joint events in the years to come," added Adolf Šádek.

DOOSAN will therefore continue to be the club´s general partner and its logo will once again be proudly worn on the chest of the new jerseys, which will be worn in the 2022/2023 season both in European Cup matches and in league matches. Also, the stadium will continue to bear the official name of DOOSAN Arena.
