The guest appearances of Sampson Dweh and Cheick Souré from Vyškov turn into permanent transfers. Viktoria exercised the option for both players and signed new three-year contracts with them. They will wear the red and blue jersey until at least 2027.

Sampson Dweh joined Viktoria a year ago from Vyškov. Firstly, he went on trial trials, in which he convinced coach Miroslav Koubek of his qualities and won a year´s loan with an option. Viktoria has now activated the option and acquired the Liberian international on transfer. The 22-year-old defender signed a new three-year contract at the Doosan Arena.

"Sampson adapted very quickly, managed to carve out a solid place in the line-up and proved his qualities both in league matches and on the European stage. Our decision was therefore quite clear, his staying in our jersey is an important message," said Daniel Kolář, the club´s sporting director. "Together we believe that we can develop the player even further and that Sampson will be one of our defensive pillars in the new season," he added.

"I feel happy in Viktorka, we have a good team here and we played a great season. I am already looking forward to the new season, which will be full of great challenges for all of us," said the 22-year-old defender.

He played a total of 48 games for Viktoria in the 2023/2024 season and scored two goals.

Midfielder Cheick Souaré also signed a new three-year contract with Viktoria. The Olympique Marseille alumnus has had a successful spring in the red and blue jersey and has also made a strong claim for a permanent transfer. "It took a while for him to fully adapt, which was the result of a minor injury during the winter training. But then he fully showed his strengths and contribution to the team. So there was no doubt about him staying in Viktorka," said Daniel Kolář. "It was a great pity that he could no longer be included in the roster for the knockout part of the European Conference League, but it will be all the more motivating for him to fight for the Europa League, which awaits us in the new season," added Kolář.

"I´m happy in Viktorka, there are great facilities and fans here. I´m looking forward to the new season, the basis will be a good summer preparation and then we´ll go all out again," said the French winger.

During the spring part of the season, Cheick Souaré played 16 games and scored three goals.
