Erik Jirka leaves Viktoria Plzen after two and a half years. His next steps will lead to Piast Gliwice in Poland.

He joined Viktoria Plzeň in August 2022 and has played in the Champions League, the Europa League and the Europa League. He scored eleven goals across all competitions. However, after eighty-three games, he bids farewell to the Victorian jersey. He will be playing for Piast Gliwice next year.

"It was a beautiful two and a half years. We had a good time together. I would like to thank all the fans, my teammates, the management team and the club for letting me be a part of it. It was a ride! Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope the boys will go as far as possible in the Europa League. But now our paths are diverging," Erik Jirka says goodbye to the club.

Two evenings in particular will be unforgettable for Viktoria fans. The match against Drita and the penalty kick in the twenty-first minute of the setup, which decided Viktoria´s progress to the next round of the Conference Europa League, and the two goals into the Slavia net, which Erik Jirka used to break the curse of Eden.
