On Friday 18th July 2014 Viktoria Plzeň played the final match of the Czech Supercup 2014/15 against Sparta Praha who won the League and the Cup as well.

On Friday 18th July 2014 Viktoria Plzeň played the final match of the Czech Supercup 2014/15 against Sparta Praha who won the League and the Cup as well.

The match started well for Viktoria and on 5 minutes of the game they had a penalty kick. Unfortunately for Plzeň Honza Kovařík missed the target so the result stayed goalless. On 10 minutes Sparta took a free kick, Dočkal passed to Lafata and he headed the ball behind Viktoria´s goalkeeper. On 18 minutes Krejčí faced Kozáčik but did not succeed and hit only him running out of the goal. Plzeň threatened on 27 minutes when Stanislav Tecl run behind the defence but he could not score. On 33 minutes the result was 2:0 for Sparta. Ladislav Krejčí got to the ball, overlooked by sleepy defence, and gave no chance to Kozáčik. On 43 minutes Krejčí had an effort on goal again but this time Kozáčik was happier when destroying his chance. That was it for the 1st half and Sparta went to dressing rooms leading 2:0.

Dušan Uhrin made one change for the 2nd half and substituted Pilař for Kovařík. On 54 minutes Sparta had a chance when having a free kick from 18 metres long distance but Vácha sent the ball closely above the crossbar. Viktoria became more active after this and had a few of Tecl´s headers but Bičík in Sparta´s goal showed excellent performance. The same could be said about Kozáčik on the other side when destroying Breznaník´s shot soon after that. Sparta appeared in another promising chance on 70 minutes. Krejčí missed the goal from 20 metres. Viktoria had a great chance after a corner on 75 minutes but Petržela did not push the ball behind Bičík´s back. On 77 minutes Václav Pilař was forced to leave the pitch after Holek´s foul. On 90 minutes Sparta score one more goal, Breznaník shot behind Kozáčik.

The final score of the Superfinal was 3:0 for Sparta Praha.
