Most likely the last Viktoria reinforcements are Martin Zeman and Lukáš Hejda from Sparta Praha. Both young players will join the team on Thursday in Austria before the match against Spartak Moscow. Lukáš Hejda transfers to Viktoria, Martin Zeman is on loan. Both clubs decided not to public financial details of both transfers.

„We were watching both players for a long time and were interested in them several times before. The agreement came off now and I´m glad,“ said Pavel Vrba who also added: „Martin Zeman is a similar type of player like Milan Petržela or Václav Pilař so he will be suitable to play on the right side. Lukáš Hejda is one of the best-known young centre backs in the Czech Republic, he´s got a great sense of passes so he should fit in our game system.“

The Viktoria owner Tomáš Paclík appreciated the speed of the agreement of both clubs. „I´m glad that Sparta Praha dealt correct. I find positive that in spite of the sport rivalry of both clubs it is possible to deal the business in a professional way.“ The boss also confirmed that all transfers are over. „We concentrate only on the future matches. The only thing which might be possible is leaving of some players on loan if they don´t have so many chances to play.“

Paclík also adds to both reinforcements: „Lukáš Hejda is a promising talent and I believe he will do his best in our team. Martin Zeman´s situation could be called a project of common interests of Viktoria and Sparta in order to brush up his indisputable talent.“

„There is not enough time before the season start but I´m not afraid because in spite of their age they both have some experience,“ said Pavel Vrba.

Both players take this transfer as a new challenge for them. „It is the next step in my career. Viktoria performs great football, they will fight for the Europa League and the top of Gambrinus League again. I´m coming with respect, on the other hand with a desire to play in this team,“ said 22-years-old Lukáš Hejda. Martin Zeman adds similar thoughts: „I´m looking forward to the pitch and to the team, too. I´m going to try to repay their trust in me. I´m craving to show I didn´t forget to play football“
