Immediately after the match with Jablonec, which secured Viktoria´s second place and thus the Champions League qualification, the players took a well-deserved holiday. They will report to coach Miroslav Koubek on Monday 16th June.

The players and the implementation team will have three weeks off now, but head coach Miroslav Koubek announced that after a fortnight the players will start fulfilling their individual plans. They will meet together in the Doosan Arena on Monday 16 June, when the traditional stress tests are scheduled.

This will be followed by two-phase training sessions at home, which will be enriched by three preparatory matches. On Saturday 21 June, Viktoria will play in Stod in the framework of the project Kick for football by Gambrinus, followed by a duel with České Budějovice in Luční Street (Wednesday 25 June). Then the Viktoria team will play against the home division team in Komárov on 28 June.

"Of course, we are counting on the fact that the national team players, who have to play their teams in June, have to get some time off and will join the preparation later. We have set the date of 24 June so that we will be complete afterwards in Austria and we will be able to start the new season," explained Daniel Kolář, the club´s sports director.

Departure for the training camp in Westendorf, Austria, is scheduled for Wednesday 2 July. It is under the Alpine giants that the final game part of the preparation will take place. Also in Tyrol, the Victorians will play three preparatory matches with foreign opponents, whose names are currently under negotiation.

After returning home to Pilsen, the final details will be fine-tuned for the start of the new season, which will begin with the 1st league round on the weekend of 19-20 July.
