In the third preparatory game of the Austrian camp, the Victorians won against the Polish team 2:1, when Matěj Vydra and Prince Adu scored.
In the third "Austrian" duel, coach Miroslav Koubek´s charges played against the Polish team Górnik Zabrze, whose jersey with the captain´s armband is also worn by Lukas Podolski.
The Victorian coach did not have Cheick Souaré, who is suffering from a muscle injury, and Lukas Hejda, who is gradually joining the training load. Pavel Šulc and Lukas Cervo had an individual training session instead of the game as planned.
The beginning of the match was marked by Victorian activity full of movement and pressing. It resulted in shooting attempts by Matej Vydra, Denis Višinský and a header by Václav Jemelka. However, it was not until the 24th minute when Vydra jumped on Merchas Doski´s centre and sent the ball into the net with the help of the bar. The visitors got their first serious chance six minutes later and managed to take the equaliser to 1:1. The teams parted ways after the opening half with that score.
For the second half, the coaching staff sent a completely new eleven. The first chance was scored by the visitors, but Viktorka came through on the counter-attack. In particular Prince Adu, who scored from the edge of the box.
In the 71st minute, Florian Wiegele made an excellent save on a Gornik chance. The Viktoria team then brought the third match in Austria to a victorious end.
