Viktoria Plzeň has activated the option to buy back midfielder Alexandr Sojka from Hradec Králové. The 22-year-old midfielder will join the team today and fly to Benidorm for training camp. The same applies to talented youth player Adam Novák from the club´s academy.
Twenty-two-year-old midfielder Alexandr Sojka is becoming a familiar face in the Viktoria Plzeň team. The player, who came through the club´s academy, transferred to Hradec Králové in the summer, but is now returning to the Doosan Arena. "We decided to activate the buy-back option in the contract during this transfer window," explained Martin Vozábal, the club´s sporting director. "The goal is to increase competition in midfield, and Saša Sojka performed very well during the fall. I am glad that he can travel to the training camp and complete the main part of the preparation with us," he added.
The second player to join the Benidorm squad is talented 17-year-old winger Adam Novák from the club´s academy. In the fall, he played with the U17 national team at the World Cup in Qatar, where he captained the Czech team twice. Now he is getting a chance to train under Martin Hyský.
