Twenty-two-year-old midfielder Alexandr Sojka signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Viktoria Plzeň today in Benidorm.
Alexandr Sojka went through the club academy, played in the Youth Champions League, and made it to the first team. In the summer after the European Under-21 Championship, he transferred to Hradec Králové, from where the club bought him back at the start of winter training. He has now committed his future to the red and blue colors by signing a three-and-a-half-year contract.
"As we recently announced, Saša Sojka performed very well in the fall. That´s why we decided to take advantage of the opportunity to bring him back into our service and have now agreed on a new contract with the player," said club sporting director Martin Vozábal. "We see tremendous hard work and a desire to succeed in him, and that´s exactly the kind of hungry player we need," he added.

"There was no hesitation. I´m happy to be at the club where I grew up playing soccer, and I´ll do everything I can to succeed and be as valuable to the team as possible," said Alexandr Sojka after signing the new contract.
