Eighteen-year-old talented goalkeeper Matyáš Šilhavý has agreed on a new contract with the club and will represent Viktoria until 2029.

Eighteen-year-old goalkeeper Matyáš Šilhavý, a product of the club´s academy and a member of the Czech national under-19 team, today committed his future to Viktoria Plzeň by signing a new contract at the Doosan Arena that will keep him at the club until 2029. The young talent has been training with Viktoria´s A-team for the second year and is also gaining experience between the posts in the B-team.

"Matyáš is one of the great talents of Czech football between the posts. Our common goal is to continue to develop his skills, and he will have all the prerequisites for this," said Martin Vozábal, the club´s sporting director.
