Forward Daniel Vašulín is leaving Viktoria Plzeň and joining Zbrojovka Brno, a newcomer to the top division.

The 27-year-old forward joined Viktoria two years ago from Hradec Králové. In total, he played 52 matches in the red-and-blue jersey, scoring nine goals and recording five assists. During the recently concluded season, he spent the fall on loan in Olomouc before returning to Štruncovy sady for the spring. Now, however, he is moving permanently to Zbrojovka Brno.

“During the spring part of the season, Dan didn’t get as much playing time as he had hoped for. By mutual agreement, we decided that if an offer came along that was attractive to both sides, we wouldn’t stand in his way. Zbrojovka meets exactly those criteria. We thank him for his service and wish him the best of luck in his new venture,” commented Martin Vozábal, the club’s sporting director, on the forward’s transfer.

Both clubs have decided not to disclose the transfer fee.

Dan, thank you and good luck!
