Midfielder Tom Slončík is leaving Viktoria Plzeň. His transfer to FC Hradec Králové was confirmed today.
The 21-year-old midfielder Tom Slončík joined Viktoria Plzeň two years ago from Zlín. He spent both the spring and fall of 2025 on loan at Hradec Králové, returning to Doosan Arena for the spring portion of last season. Now he is saying goodbye to the red-and-blue jersey for good and transferring to eastern Bohemia.
He played a total of 22 matches for Viktoria, scoring two goals and also appearing in the Europa League.
“On behalf of the entire club, I’d like to thank Tom for his service. Unfortunately, his playing time in the spring wasn’t what both sides had hoped for. Given his still-young age, it is crucial for his further development as a soccer player that he plays regularly. A transfer to an environment he knows well from his loan stint is therefore a logical step. We wish him all the best in his future career,” said Martin Vozábal, the club’s sporting director.
