Viktoria Plzeň fans can unwrap one more present just after Christmas. Twenty-three-year-old midfielder Amar Memić is heading from Karviná to Doosan Arena. He signed a three-year contract with the club.

Twenty-three-year-old midfielder Amar Memić headed from his native Bosnia and Herzegovina to Karviná via an engagement in Slovenia. He played 49 games for the Czech Republic´s top team, scoring 10 goals and recording 6 assists. In the current 2024/2025 season, he already has 7 goals and two assists. His next football steps lead to Viktorka, with whom he signed a three-year contract.

"We were very impressed with Amar´s performance, we watched him and decided to acquire him. We are happy that everything has been concluded and we will be able to welcome him at the beginning of January at the start of the preparation," said Daniel Kolař, the club´s sport director. "He is a speed type of player at an ideal age and with potential, which we intend to continue to develop together," he added.

"Viktorka is a really big club, it has great facilities and fans. I am excited to move here. I´m very motivated and I´m looking forward to playing in the Viktoria Plzeň jersey for the first time," said Amar Memić after signing the contract.
