The Victorians flew to Rome, where they will fight for a place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. A short interview with assistant coach Jan Trousil and midfielder Lukas Cervo took place at the airport.
Honza, knowing you´ve already played 90 minutes with them, how do you go at them?
We´re gonna go at them based on the first game. We want to be dangerous and we´ll try to make the rematch more dramatic so it´s clear that we´re still fighting for promotion.
Did knowing that they weren´t better in the first game help you, but on the contrary?
The course of the first game showed us that we can play with them. Of course, it´s always better for us at home in Pilsen. But we believe that the way we played could also be effective away. Moreover, we had one more day to rest because Lazio didn´t play until Monday. We hope that this will be an advantage for us and that we can succeed.
What is the ideal scenario? To score the first goal?
The main thing is to keep it scoreless for as long as possible and strike at the end. Obviously, if we score the first goal, it will be advantageous for us, but the main thing is not to score.
How is the team health-wise?
Daniel Vasulin is sick, Milan Havel has a virus. They are not flying with us, but otherwise everyone is ready for the game.
How are you looking forward to the atmosphere?
We don´t know exactly how many spectators will come, but according to the available information, about half of the stadium should be filled, so it shouldn´t be such a racket. But I think the boys will be fine. We are looking forward to it and we believe we will be successful.

Did you show in the first game that you can play with Lazio?
Yes, we did. Now we have to do it again away from home.
Are they playable?
Every opponent is playable. It certainly helped us to show that they´re playable. But it will be a completely different game - they´ll be at home, they´ll have more fan support, they´re playing in a big stadium. But we´re going there with the mindset that we want to do well and advance.
Do you still have any open accounts from the first game in your head?
I don´t know about them, but I certainly don´t.
Will we need to perform even better than we did at home?
I´m sure. We lost at home, now we need to win. The performance has to be better, especially in the sense of keeping a clean sheet while trying to score one or two goals.
Will you want to play the same way you did at home, when you pressed from the beginning?
I think we played well at home. The only thing that spoiled the performance was the last situation. The last twenty minutes, even with their red card, we were pressing and we were thinking more about scoring a second goal. In the end, it turned out the way it did. We have to avoid lapses and play to our full potential throughout the game, but otherwise our game plan remains the same.
Lazio drew in the league at the weekend. How did you break it down?
We´re preparing for them. We know about it, but I don´t think their weekend performance will be decisive in the rematch. We also drew and didn´t play an optimal game. It will be a brand new game and we will go into it with a clear head and the best possible setup.
