Midfielder Adrian Zeljković will spend the upcoming season at MTK Budapest, where he already played during the spring half of last season. He is joining the Hungarian club on a one-year loan with an option to buy.
He spent the spring portion of last season playing for a Hungarian club. He appeared in fourteen matches, scoring once. Now, the 23-year-old Slovenian midfielder is returning to MTK Budapest; the clubs have agreed on a one-year loan with an option to buy.
“At this point, we couldn’t guarantee Adrian regular playing time. He did well at MTK in the spring, and both he and the club expressed interest in continuing their collaboration, so we’ve now reached a mutual agreement,” said Viktoria’s sporting director, Martin Vozábal.
