The talented 18-year-old centre-back Tobiáš Pališčák is joining Viktoria from Žilina in Slovakia. He has signed a four-year contract at the Doosan Arena.
Tobiáš Pališčák is one of the greatest talents in Slovak football. Despite his very young age, he has managed to establish himself in Žilina’s first team and has made forty-one league appearances. He also plays for the Under-21 national team. He is now moving abroad for the first time, having signed a four-year contract at Doosan Arena.
“He is an exceptional talent who has been tracked by a number of European clubs. That is one of the reasons why we are delighted to have managed to bring Tobiáš to Viktoria. Together, we have drawn up a plan for his further development and we want to nurture the enormous potential he possesses,” said Martin Vozábal, the club’s sporting director. “He is well-built, quick and has a good reading of the game. We believe he’ll fit in brilliantly with our team,” he added.

“I’m moving to a big club that regularly plays in European competitions and has high ambitions. I think this is a step in the right direction for me, and I’ll be keen to keep improving and give my all every day,” said Tobiáš Pališčák after signing the contract.
“Of course, the fact that there are a lot of lads from Slovakia at Viktoria also played a part in my decision. I’m already looking forward to meeting them in person at the first training session. I feel great; I’m confident I’ll settle in well and be able to help the team,” he added.
Tobiáš, welcome to Viktoria!
