Attendance:

After the win over Artis Brno, Viktoria played their second pre-season friendly. The match against Spartak Trnava in Dobřany ended in a 1–1 draw, with Jiří Maxim Panoš scoring Plzeň´s only goal.

Viktoria made a positive start to their second pre-season friendly. Matěj Vydra tested the goalkeeper with an early long-range effort, earning his side a corner. From the resulting set piece, Adam Kadlec got on the end of the cross but headed over the bar. In the 6th minute, Kadlec whipped a dangerous ball into the penalty area, but the Trnava defence turned it behind for another corner. Moments later, Kadlec tried his luck again, only to see his shot blocked by a defender. In the 11th minute, Matěj Valenta delivered a threatening cross from the left into the six-yard box, but Spartak's defence reacted well once more. Trnava created their first opportunity in the 18th minute, forcing Dominik Ťapaj into action. Six minutes later, Valenta made a run behind the defence, but his intentions were read well by a visiting defender. In the 26th minute, Tomáš Ladra played Matěj Vydra through on goal, but the striker's effort was saved by the goalkeeper. Trnava threatened only occasionally, with their attacks failing to trouble the Viktoria defence. At the other end, Mohamed Touré fired just wide, before Karel Spáčil's effort from the edge of the box also missed the target in the 36th minute. A minute later, Sampson Dweh produced an excellent defensive intervention to stop a dangerous Trnava counterattack. With no further major chances before the break, the teams went into half-time level at 0–0.

Viktoria started the second half brightly. In the 47th minute, Patrik Hrošovský chipped a superb pass over the defence to Novák, who was unable to convert the opportunity. Trnava threatened down the flank in the 55th minute, but Büchner made an excellent block to concede only a corner. The visitors broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute after an inaccurate pass inside the penalty area allowed them to regain possession, with Mehmeti finishing the move to make it 1–0. A few minutes later, Jiří Maxim Panoš struck the post with a powerful effort from distance, but he made amends shortly afterwards. Given another chance to shoot, he curled a stunning strike into the top corner to level the score at 1–1. In the 74th minute, Hrošovský tried his luck from distance, but his shot was blocked by a defender. Viktoria controlled possession in the closing stages but found it difficult to break down Trnava's deep defensive line. Five minutes from time, Souaré met a Hrošovský cross with a header that drifted narrowly wide. Neither side could find a winner, and Viktoria's second pre-season match ended in a 1–1 draw.
