It´s coming! Viktoria will welcome Manchester United at home on 12 December at the DOOSAN Arena. And we´ve prepared a special campaign for this special football event that says „Red is not enough, but with blue it´s tough!“

The Europa League brings one of the most famous football clubs in the world - Manchester United! The team nicknamed "Red Devils" is an icon of world football and, thanks to millions of fans, one of the absolute top. It will be a real football feast for Pilsen and the whole region. Stars such as Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Højlund will face off against Pavel Šulc, Lukáš Červ, Sampson Dweh and Lukáš Kalvach. An exceptional spectacle in an exceptional atmosphere, not to be missed!

"We are looking forward to a big game that will be a celebration for the whole club, the whole city and region, all our partners and fans. I hope that together we will create an unforgettable atmosphere of a match that we will remember for a long time," says Adolf Šádek, CEO and Chairman of the Board of the club.

And for this special event Viktorka has prepared a special campaign called "Red is not enough, but with blue it´s tough!". The slogan plays with the club colours of both teams - the "red" United and the red and blue Viktoria - and expresses the pride of the city and the region in our club.

"The aim of the campaign is to highlight the uniqueness of this match and add a dash of sharp British humour. Of course, with all due respect and enormous respect for the club that is Manchester United. The chosen slogan should appeal not only to our fans, but also to the supporters of the visiting club, who will arrive in Plzeň with over eight hundred of them. We want to create an atmosphere that will make this unforgettable evening even more memorable," says Jaromír Hamouz, the club´s sales and marketing director.

The players themselves can feel how special the match is going to be. "You don´t play against Manchester United every year. It´s a huge challenge and a chance to compare yourself with a team of such quality. At the same time, it´s a dream come true that I´ve had since I was a kid," admits midfielder Pavel Šulc

What can fans look forward to?

We are preparing several special activities as part of the campaign: Light installations in cooperation with the city of Pilsen - directly in the city and in the vicinity of the DOOSAN Arena. Limited edition Gambrinus beer cans, T-shirts and other items with the campaign theme. A fire show awaits you at the stadium before kickoff to underline the festive atmosphere of the evening. We will present the details of each activity in turn - you really have something to look forward to!
