Matěj Vydra and Jan Kopic renewed their contracts at the game camp in Benidorm.

The two players have known each other since their youth, when they played together in the youth of Jihlava and have a long-standing friendship. Symbolically, they extended their contracts with Viktorka together during the training camp in Benidorm, Spain. Matěj Vydra and Jan Kopic signed for another year, until the summer of 2026.

"Both players have great experience, which they can pass on both on the pitch and in the cabin. We were therefore interested in having them continue to work for us, and it was in Spain that the final agreement was reached. I wish both Honza and Matěj to avoid injuries and to continue to do well on the field," said Daniel Kolář, the club´s sports director.

"I feel very good in Viktorka, we have a great team here and I dare say we are doing well. That is why I am very happy that we have agreed on my further stay at the club. I am looking forward to the next big games in front of our fans, I want to continue to make them as happy as possible and help the team," says Matěj Vydra after the contract extension. In the current season, the striker has four league goals and three assists to his credit, and added three more goals in the Europa League. He scored against Manchester United, Dynamo Kiev and PAOK.

"I´m at home in Pilsen, I love the club, I´ve had a lot of great games here. So I am glad that my future is connected with Viktorka," Jan Kopic is also clear. In the current season, he scored a hat-trick in the last league match against Budějovice, for example, and in total he has played 348 games in the league and scored 59 goals. He belongs to the Club of Legends.

Boys, let´s continue to do well!
