Viktoria Plzeň travelled to Olomouc in the last away game of the season. The match ended in a 2:1 victory for the Plzeň team, with goals scored by Matěj Vydra and Václav Jemelka.

Before the start of the match, a farewell to the football career of former Viktoria Plzeň player Jan Sýkora, who decided to retire due to long-term health problems, took place.

Both teams entered the match cautiously, neither of them wanted to commit a gross mistake. The game was therefore played mostly in the middle of the pitch, where there were many personal duels. In the 20th minute Viktoria had to make their first substitution, Jan Paluska left the field due to health problems and was replaced by Milan Havel.

As time passed, Viktoria took the initiative and started to be more active up front. Prince Adu often got into interesting attacking situations. For example, he turned with the ball on the edge of the penalty area, but his shot was blocked by the home defence for a corner kick, which at least won him a standard situation. In the 29th minute, he had a great chance when he headed at the back post, but could not direct the ball between the three posts.

Pavel Šulc also joined the game and made his way down the right side of the pitch to the penalty area, where he found captain Lukáš Kalvach with a pass underneath him. He finished to the front post, but his shot was blocked by a defender with a timely slide.

In the 45th minute, Olomouc took the lead after a goal by Chvátal. The home team went to the booths with a 1:0 score.

In the second half, Viktoria significantly increased the pace and pressed the opponent from the very beginning in order to reverse the unfavourable development. The pressure paid off. Already in the 46th minute Matěj Vydra got the ball in the whitewash and with a sharp shot equalized to 1:1.

The Victorians did not let up and in the 68th minute their efforts paid off again. Pavel Šulc first shot from a longer distance and tried to surprise goalkeeper Koutný. The ball was only cleared for a corner. Lukáš Kalvach took the ball and, just like last week, found Václav Jemelka with a precise centre, who headed it in to make it 2-1.

In the 74th minute, Pavel Šulc added Viktoria´s third goal, but his joy did not last long. The situation was reviewed by VAR and the goal was disallowed due to an offensive foul preceding the goal. In the 84th minute, Jan Sýkora entered the field and scored the last minutes of his playing career. The score remained unchanged until the end of the match and Viktoria defeated Olomouc 2-1.
