Viktoria Plzeň took on Jablonec in the last match of the season. The match ended 4:1. Rafiu Durosinmi, Sampson Dweh and Pavel Šulc scored twice for Viktoria.

Today´s game was crucial for both teams. Viktoria Plzeň, in the case of a win, could definitely secure second place and participation in the Champions League qualification, while Jablonec was aiming for a certainty of playing in the European Cups. Before the kick-off, Václav Jemelka was presented with his jersey on the occasion of his 200th league start in the last round in Olomouc, where he scored the winning goal.

Viktoria left nothing to chance and made their fans happy right at the start of the match. The ball was deflected into the net by striker Rafiu Durosinmi to open the scoring. The Victorians continued to dominate the game after their successful entry and created one chance after another.

In the 16th minute, Petr Ševčík had to make a substitution due to health problems, which forced the visitors to make their first lineup change. Four minutes later, Doosan Arena was happy for the second time. Pavel Šulc, who waited on the edge of the box and from a volley shot through Jan Hanuš.

The two-goal lead encouraged the Victorians and they continued to play dangerous combinations. Amar Memić, for example, took individual action and went through two players on the right side and tried to finish, but he didn´t get the final shot. Rafiu Durosinmi and Lukas Cervo also played well together. After a quick cross, the latter fired a shot on goal, but Hanuš was on the spot.

At the end of the first half Viktoria increased the score for the third time. This time, the goal was scored after a corner kick. The deflected ball reached Sampson Dweh after hitting the bar and he comfortably headed it into the open net. The score was 3-0.

The second half offered a quieter pace, but Pilsen still created dangerous chances and above all controlled the game in order to keep the winning result. Jablonec threatened from standard situations, but the home defence, led by goalkeeper Martin Jedlička, dealt with them without much difficulty.

Viktoria continued to attack, especially on the right side, where Amar Memic was making a big impact. In the 67th minute, he sent a precise centre to Pavel Šulc, who beat Hanus with his head and increased the score to 4:0. Two minutes later, the captain Lukáš Kalvach left the field and it was his last moment in the red and blue jersey. His teammates prepared a walk of fame to thank him for his contribution to the club.

In the 83rd minute, Cadu also took the field and it was also his last minutes in a Viktoria jersey. At the very end of the match, Jablonec were awarded a penalty, which was converted by former Plzeň player Jan Chramosta. The match ended with Viktoria Plzeň winning 4:1, which definitely secured their participation in the Champions League qualification.
