On Monday Pavel Šulc received the Fair Play Award, on Tuesday he was named the best midfielder of the season and today he was even named the best player in the league for the 2024/2025 season!

The Victorian midfielder succeeded in the League Football Association (LFA)´s big poll, which is voted on by coaches, captains of premier league teams and selected media representatives.

Pavel Šulc won by a wide margin over Jan Kliment of Olomouc and Lukáš Provod of Slavia.

Before the last game of the season, the 24-year-old has twenty-two points for 13 goals and 9 assists.

"Of course, I am happy about it and I am happy that I am the best player of the season. I appreciate every vote I received from coaches, players and journalists," says Pavel Šulc, for whom this is the biggest individual award in his career so far. Last year he won this poll in a fan vote. “But I believe that I still have a lot to do and I will add some more awards,” he adds with a smile.

But he also immediately sends his thanks to the whole team. "When you take over an award like this, it´s the work of the whole team. The team has to play well first to get some individuality out of it. So I thank all my teammates and the whole Viktoria team."

While accepting the award, Pavel Šulc also mentioned one moment of the season that he considers the strongest. Namely the goal against Sparta. "I was able to dedicate it to a sick fan, Míro, in the hospital. He even invented a special celebration for me and then I was able to show it off, I´m very happy about that."

In addition to Pavel Šulc, goalie Martin Jedlička was also honored during the week as the season´s goalie of the season. In the category of discovery of the year, the third place went to Karel Spáčil, who transferred to Viktorka in the winter and is now playing the rest of the season in Hradec Králové on loan. He will move to Doosan Arena in the summer.

Boys, congratulations!
