Coach Miroslav Koubek made several changes in the starting lineup compared to Thursday´s match. Martin Jedlička returned to the goal, and the injured Václav Jemelka was replaced by Milan Havel. The lineup also included captain Lukáš Kalvach, Cadu and Rafiu Durosinmi at the top of the attack.
And it was Viktoria who entered the match more actively. Lukáš Červ scored the first shot in the 18th minute, but goalkeeper Reichl easily defused his attempt. The score changed in the 29th minute. Lukáš Červ crossed the ball to Pavel Šulc, who shot from the right side and hit everything in his way. Viktoria led 0:1.
In the following minutes, Viktoria created more chances. Amar Memić shot twice dangerously from the wing and Lukáš Kalvach´s shot was blocked by the home defence for a corner. Rafiu Durosinmi also had an interesting chance, but he failed to smuggle the ball into the net. In the 72nd minute, Bohemians managed to reduce the score to 1:2 after a corner kick, but the goal was called back after VAR intervention.
In the end, the game went from side to side. Every time the ball was lost, the other team counterattacked. The head referee set eight minutes for a lengthy VAR review. During this time, one more goal fell in Ďolíček. Unfortunately for the Victorians into their own net. After a corner kick, Daniel Vasulin unluckily knocked the ball into the net with his head.
Despite the own goal in the setup, Viktoria Plzeň won 1:2 against Bohemians Praha 1905 and took away three important points from Prague.
